Let's talk Supply Chain 2018...

A conversation about theory vs. practice.  We will discuss a few supply chain successes and failures, and follow that with a group discussion on how we can potentially close the gap between theory and actual practice.  Let's have a candid discussion on what many companies actually do vs. what best practices say we should do and why.  Please join us in this informative discussion. There will be a short presentation and then open discussion on this highly current topic.

Heather Schooler owns her own consulting business, Help Me Finish Corporation, that performs transportation, growth, and strategy business advisory services.  She volunteers with the Racine Kenosha APICS chapter and serves as a certified APICS instructor.  Heather holds an Accounting degree from Miami University and an Operations Management MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.  In addition to her degrees, Heather has also obtained 3 APICS certifications in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD).

Her work experience is broad and cross functional.  Heather most recently taught Supply Chain both at the university level and for local corporations.   While working in the corporate world, Heather gained experience in Systems Implementations, Consulting, Project Management, Accounting, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Transportation.  She managed large teams with P&L responsibility and projects resulting in millions of dollars in cost savings and demonstrated a proven track record of improving upon current processes and exceeding expectations.

Heather speaks nationally to small business owners and is completing her first book on small business growth to be released in summer of 2018.  To give back to her community Heather serves on the boards of Legacy Reentry Foundation and the Racine Kenosha Urban League.
