Emergency Management and Business Considerations

David will discuss the different types of emergencies that can impact us as individuals and our companies. The steps we take to prepare for these emergencies can make the difference of surviving or not. Whether it is our family at home or our job at work, we need to prepare for these challenges. The proper preparation can save our lives and save our companies. What would happen to your company if your number one supplier burned to the ground? What if your company was struck by a tornado? David will discuss these situations and more. Join us for an informative presentation by an expert in the field.

Are you interested in advancing your career by continuing your supply chain education?  Consider the APICS certifications for:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD)

CSCP focus is on the end-to-end supply chain. It looks at topics relevant to your own organization as well as your customers and your suppliers. CPIM, alternatively, is more focused in-house on topics that include materials management, master scheduling, forecasting and production planning.  CLTD is also more focused within logistics, transportation, and distribution.  Learn more at APICS.ORG

For more information on our class offerings, including the latest schedule & pricing, please visit our website RAKEAPICS.ORG and click on ‘Education.’  Our intent is to offer certification review courses for each of these certifications. Please email us if you are interested and when we have enough interest to hold a class, we will schedule the dates.
